The reasons why one becomes homeless are complicated to comprehend.  One certainty we can have, is that no one’s dream was ever to become a forgotten homeless person someday. Mae Organization has been operating with a board of volunteers, to combat homelessness.

We are funded by the generosity of individual, corporate donations, and grants, along with the sale of our themed products.

We couldn't accomplish all we do without our volunteers.  Please consider joining our amazing team of volunteers.

Food Service

We are looking for cooks and/or volunteers to make sandwiches for the following locations: Woonsocket, West Warwick, Providence, Pawtucket

Clothing & Toiletries

We are looking for volunteers to sort and pack clothing at the Wellness Center in Cranston.  We also need volunteers to deliver these items to food service locations.

fundraising

We are looking for volunteers to help coordinate or assist at fundraising events.

grants

We are looking for volunteers with some experience in grant writing and research.

We would love to expand our food services to Central Falls. We are looking for a team leader to help volunteer at this location.
